An Evening with Samantha Brown

Blessings of the Day: I get to meet a Samantha Brown hahaha :)) I have to blog about this!

Samantha Brown! Host of Passport to Europe, America and Great weekends! She's one my fav host to watch when comes to TLC channel.

When I first watched her host Amazing Homes, the background were pretty boring actually. But I continued watching because of her! Watching her displaying the different kind of expressions and experiences made it so real and you didn't feel it was scripted. (I cringed whenever a host presents when they looked like they memorized a whole chunk of words which didn't appeal to the audience at all! The saving grace was the beautiful place. ) However for her, it was the opposite! Yes granted they did show interesting things but seriously Samantha's personality stealed the whole show! I kept watching because of her! Finally when Passport to Europe and America rolled out, I was thrilled to see her again! She made me want to tour the 2 places even more!

haha this was really funny and it woke me up while doing my research on Singapore globalization:

A Singaporean soldier was sent to Nepal to train with the Gurkhas to be paratroopers. One the first day of training, the instructor asked the Gurkhas and the Singaporean for volunteers to jump out of the plane. No Gurkhas put up their hands to volunteer. The Singaporean found it strange. These were the Gurkhas whose bravery were legendary and yet they didn’t dare to parachute out of a plane. The Singaporean thus decided to volunteer. The instructor seeing the Singaporean’s hand raised asked for more volunteers. Slowly, hesitantly, a few other Gurkhas raised their hands.The instructor was satisfied.

He then took out a parachute and said, “Each of you will be jumping out of the plane with this parachute”.

“Oh…we can use parachute, ” the Gurkhas started whispering among themselves.

Blessings of the Day: Finally cleared the NUS and down with UniSIM! Go Go Go!

My lastest assignment requires me a game review. Is not the type you play and write the short review online. I am required to write a 4 to 6 pages report on this game I play, it is written as if I am doing a feedback report for the creator on the strategic decisions, AI and other technical stuffs for them about this game.


If only every of my assignment is as fun and interesting like this.

Too bad only 60 minutes trial time. Why can't they give me like 10 times login to play this game.. That will be super fun haha

Black Beauty

Blessings of the Day: I thank God for the friends who lend their support for Keegan during his most difficult time. God works in ways we cannot see.

My brain is exploding from all the works and studies. It is pure madness having to deliver assignments, storyboards and presentations every week. To count other work deadlines that constantly add on to my shoulder. Sigh - it is not easy. Really not easy.

I need a PDA smart phone seriously. I had considered since the beginning of last year and I had not made any action at all. In the midst I had changed phones nearly 2 years. Several models are hovering in my head - SE P1, Dopod, O2, HTC and HP. But smart phones are so expensive and is as good as getting another brand new laptop.



And now another new kid on the block - ok is not out yet. But the phone look so cool and almost like an iPhone. No I won't be aiming on the iPhone because Apple and PC aren't best friends.
