Motivational Talks

One person cannot motivate another person. A person can only motivate himself.

Therefore, you cannot "change" a person, but you influence him/her. No matter how fantastic a motivational talk the speaker had given to you and how it got you excited, it all really depend whether the person listening to the talk is open to change.  It also depends on whether he is currently happy with the results he is getting. Lastly it depends whether is he at the stage of his life when he is hungry to learn.

While motivational talks can create a desire to change, it will be up to the audience to decide how they really want to change their lives. When people understand that they have a power to change and make a difference, they will not want to be the same again.
